The Code Red™ Personal Survival Kit for OFFSHORE PERSONNEL is designed by industry Risk and Safety Professionals for that scenario, as an oil & gas professional you hope you never face.

The Personal Survival Kit for OFFSHORE USE is designed to be used by personnel working in the offshore oil & gas industry in offshore locations so that in the event of a fire the user will be able to function in toxic smoke filled environment to facilitate successful egress and evacuation.

For use by Offshore Oil & Gas Professionals while traveling or offshore. Can be stowed in bunk and / or located in hazardous areas for use with life-rafts in Major Hazard Event where access to the TR is unavailable.

Caught in a smoke filled hazard event the user will have a far greater chance of egressing to a place of safety with the 15 min breathing air smoke hood. To assist in safe egress a battery free torch is included to illuminate an egress route in a smoke filled environment together with a pair of Nomex/Kevlar gloves to safely negotiate hot spots and sharp objects.

Easily portable, this kit can also be used at home or at leisure to provide protection to the employee and their families.

Tested, approved and certified in accordance with the demands of the European Standard EN 403: 1993-S. In order to obtain the EN 403 the mask has to provide protection for at least 15 minutes against all gases foreseen in the EN 403 norm.

These Nomex flight gloves are gauntlet style and used by all military Pilots. The Nomex flight gloves are a 9 ounce flame retardant Nomex fiber on the back panels with a soft leather on the palms and finger areas. The Nomex fiber makes them highly heat and fire resistant to 700 degrees. The Nomex gloves have reinforced stitching and are constructed to U.S. Mil Spec. G-81188B. The Nomex gloves are form fitting therefore dexterity and feel are not affected.
